Quinoa chilla [198]

Makes 3 to 4 pancakes/ chillas

Ingredients

Quinoa- 1cup (grind it fine in an mixi..somewhat like wheat flour /atta)
1 Onion
1 Tomato
1 Carrot
5-6 leaves Spinach
6-7 French beans
2 Tbsp Corriander leaves
1 Green chillies
Salt- to taste
A pinch - Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - Red chilli powder
Rice flour - 2Tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - required while cooking the chillas.

Method :
1) Cut the vegetables very finely.
2) Mix them with the quinoa flour and add salt,turmeric powder and chilli powder.
3) Add the rice flour and the water to this. Mix everything very well.
4) Let this mix stay for half an hour for it to marinate.
5)Heat the nonstick tava (girdle) and spread a few drops of oil on it.
6) Put some batter on it and spread it evenly with the back of the spoon.
7) Cook on low flame (this is very important).
8)Turnover to cook the other side too.
9) Remove and serve hot with green chutney/ corriander chutney.
